Practice Areas

Focused preparation for serious injury cases.

We represent people and families in matters that require close attention to the event, the evidence, and the consequences that follow.

The matters we handle.

Start with the broad category that best describes what happened. Each category below lists the detailed pages currently available within the firm’s Practice Area system.

Maritime, Offshore & Boating

Maritime, offshore, and boating matters are organized by setting and role: commercial vessels, docks and terminals, the Houston Ship Channel, offshore installations, and recreational waterways, with Jones Act and Longshore claims explained separately.

Workplace & Industrial Injuries

Workplace and industrial matters are organized by worksite and mechanism: general workplace injuries, construction, refineries, onshore oilfield operations, explosions, chemical exposures, and responsibility outside the employer relationship.

Premises & Institutional Negligence

Property and institutional matters are organized by where the harm happened and who controlled it: unsafe conditions and falls on Houston property, crime that a property’s owner or operator may have had reason to anticipate, dog bites, and the care owed by funeral homes and nursing facilities.

Defective Products

Product claims separate three questions: whether one unit was built wrong, whether the design itself was unreasonably dangerous, and whether users were adequately warned. Each is answered from the product and its records, with safety put ahead of evidence.

Catastrophic Injuries & Wrongful Death

Severe injury and death matters bring the underlying event and its consequences into one record: brain injuries, amputations, sensory loss, burns, and deaths connected to collisions, worksites, vessels, property conditions, and products.

Sexual Assault & Abuse

Civil claims after sexual assault or abuse, brought at the harmed person’s pace: the claim against the individual, the separate questions about an organization that employed the person, and the privacy protections that exist and where they stop.
